Langkawi Unesco Global Geopark

Kilim Karst Geoforest Park

World-renowned for its unique geological structures and geomorphological features, the site is home to extraordinary tropical biodiversity not found anywhere else in the world.

Pulau Anak Tikus
This must-visit island features  spectacular gastropod and cephalopod impressions from over 480 million years ago.

Gua Langsir
Rich in ancient fossils, this limestone cave forms an underground tunnel that leads to a hidden lake accessible by a dinghy during low tide.

Kilim River
Naturally occurring on the shallow limestone substratum, Kilim mangroves play an important ecological role as a habitat for diverse marine and estuarine life. Observe wild raptors such as Brahminy kites and White-bellied sea eagles forage for fish at the river mouth and get acquainted with rare species of reptiles and amphibians in the area.

Lunch at the Kilim River floating restaurant is included in the full-day package.

Kilim Karst Geoforest Park is a spectacular natural reserve situated in the northeast of Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark, the first geosite in Southeast Asia to receive such a designation.

Kayaking, diving (for certified divers), jet skiing and other water activities can be arranged as add-ons.

Gua Cherita (Cave of Legends)
The two-chamber ancient limestone sea cave offers a breath-taking Instagram-worthy view of this tropical paradise.

Pulau Langgun
This astonishing geological wonder is host to ancient fossils and some of the world’s most spectacular sandstone formations. Take a one-hour trek through the lush rainforest to a hidden lake for a refreshing dip and a breathtaking view.
